General Convention 1997

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Beyond Inclusion made its first appearance at General Convention in Philadelphia.  We staffed a booth that distributed literature, printed copies of liturgies, and copies of parish histories, primarily those collected for Beyond Inclusion Pasadena earlier that year.  We popped and gave away hundreds of bags of popcorn, and our booth was visited by many who found our welcome refreshing and reassuring.  We published an irregular newsletter.
